Jaclyn joined the Jot team in 2022, bringing over 25 years of expertise to the organization. Prior to leading Jot, she held leadership roles with large mortgage servicing and technology providers, and with a national title insurance and settlement company where she helped launch online notarization services in 23 states.
As a notary and former real estate agent, she thoroughly understands the closing and signing experiences. Combined with her background in operations and product strategy, Jaclyn is adept at recognizing areas that need improvement and has the vision to develop and implement applicable solutions.
Jaclyn earned a bachelor’s degree from Chatham University. She splits her time residing between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the Gulf Coast of Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys rooting for the Steelers and spending time with her son, Jude.

I’ve been a notary for 20 years. As a former real estate agent, I became a notary to streamline transactions for my clients. I have first-hand experience with complex signings, and I understand the impact notaries have on these transactions. Buying or selling a home is the most important financial transaction in a person’s life, and I believe notaries play a critical role in that transaction.
During signings, the significance of the transaction tends to come into focus, which, at times, can be stressful. It’s comforting to have a face-to-face interaction and experience human connection during a moment of that magnitude. Knowing the importance of your work, we’re here to do things differently.
